Summer 2022 Youth Ministry Events
A New Summer Program
Our former summer program, Formed in Faith, is now a VBS program and a 5th/6th grade retreat. It is still a collaborative effort between St. John Neumann, St. John the Baptist, and Corpus Christi parishes. With the shift from primarily summer learning to year round catechetical programs at each parish, our summer programming is changing to better engage and serve the needs of our young people.
Vacation Bible School
Mornings Monday, July 18-Friday, July 22
Kids entering grades 1-4 in the fall are invited to join us for a joint VBS program between our three parishes! It’s going to be an awesome week full of faith, fun, and friendship!
5th & 6th Grade Retreat
Saturday, June 11-Sunday, June 12
Our ministry to the older kids in our summer program has changed to a 5th & 6th grade retreat! A shift to a youth ministry model allows us to better engage the kids and meet them where there at in the excitement, busyness, and issues that are part of the life of a 5th or 6th grader today. All kids entering 5th or 6th grade in the fall can attend.
